   Home for the holidays is a great little horror, suspense film with a Christmas, family homecoming setting. Sally Field is very young, and surrounded by more mature and experienced actors but really manages to hold her own. Eleanor Parker and Julie Harris give excellent performances as well and this little gem will hopefully find it way to DVD in the very near future. From there it will quickly add to its considerable cult following. I can’t believe it hasn’t already been released on DVD. Don’t miss this film and don’t forget the popcorn.

   I was really happy with the tape and the fast service.I remember seeing this on T.V and really being scared.The entire cast is wonderful.I recomend this film it’s a gem!

   I was surprised to be able to find this movie. I haven’t seen it since I was little. I really liked it and watching it again was enjoyable.

   Little did they know! Several academy award nominees, Julie Harris, Eleanor Parker and Jessica Walters not to mention veteran British actress Jill Haworth starred in this scary suspense flick directed by Dan Curtis. We also have Academy Award winner Walter Brennan in one of his last screen roles. Little did they know they were working with a future two time Academy Award winner, Sally Field. She isn’t my favorite actress, but she was cute. This film has a lot of mood and music touches by “Dark Shadows” director Dan Curtis. Searched in vain for the out of print laserdisc, perhaps there will be a DVD release.

   A Home for the Holidays is your basic Christmas music with beautiful winter and Chrismas scenes. The scenes are set to beautiful piano Christmas songs like Joy to the World, Silent Night, Away in a Manager, Hark the Herald Angels Sings and many more. The scenery includes majectics snow covered landscapes, sleigh rides, classic home scenes and more.

   The run time is only 30 minutes, however there is a great option on the dvd menu that allows you to loop the content.

   At 5.99, you cannot be disappointed. This will be great for the entire holiday season as this music and scenery warm the heart.

   Therefore, I highly recommend the product.

   This Maine folk group wouldn’t immediately come to mind for holiday music, but their collection, Home for the Holidays, is a treat. Their voices blend beautifully on some unexpected tunes, like Lord of the Dance or Lo How a Rose E’re Blooming.
   I highly recommend it.

   Schooner Fare has brought us a holiday album for people of every religion. It is an album that speaks of families coming together, winter, and the spirit that touches each of us as we light our Menorah or Christmas tree. Songs like “First Snow” express a peaceful communion with nature. There is a medley of traditional Christmas carols and then a medley of carols from “the old world” including songs in Spanish, French, German, and Hebrew. The guitar on “A’Soalin’/Esa Enai will touch your soul. And, of course, I must note the amazing harmonies that Tom, Steve, and Chuck create on each of their albums. It isn’t truly winter (even here in Maine) until I have listened to Home for the Holidays. It’s the only holiday album in my catalog and I can’t be without it. Sometimes I even play it in the summer!

   This is the best product for homes where the wall switch is for a ceiling fan. Plugged the lights into the 3 adaptors & put in a battery (odd size) and now have light when I enter the room. Thanks for a great product.

    I’ve been using this set for about 5 months now and they work great for me.

    I’m on disability and have a hard time getting out of bed, so I set up a bright light on one unit, a floor fan and my oxygen concentrator (which is in a different room due to it being noisy).

    By being able to turn the oxygen unit off in the morning (which I usually forgot to do), this remote has saved me quite a bit of money.. actually paying for itself by next month.

    No problems with the remote or frequency interference as others have mentioned..

    Happy camper here.

    Some reviews complain about a lack of range or having to point the remote at the receiver for it to work… at first I noticed the same thing until I figured out what was happening. If you press the button quickly, the light on the remote will light up, but nothing happens on the receiver side (most likely either remote is not sending the signal or the signal is not sent for a long enough duration for the receiver to pick it up). However, if you press and hold the button for a short period of time, it seems to work flawlessly. I’ve tried it through walls, outside from a reasonable distance, etc and so long as I pressed the button for longer than just tapping (e.g. press for a half second or so) I had no issues.

    I had to take the switch apart to screw it to the wall next to my regular wall switch. Without doing this, I would have lost the remote, but it has worked for over 5 months so far no problems, just wish it had a hole on the back of remote to mount to the wall, otherwise it would have a 5 star review.

    I ordered these with high hopes, but must wait to use them. There was no battery for the remote, and I have no idea where to get one. Even though Amazon said a battery was included in its technical details. Well don’t believe the one year factory warranty either! The factory warranty is for 30 days! A big difference.
    To Amazon… If you don’t have the correct information, don’t just make some up!

    It is strangely comforting to see the flickering light and be able to fall asleep with soft scents in your nostrils with no worry of fire danger. This particular fragrance is more for a morning of minor activity as you feel freshened by the fruitiliciousness wafting toward you.
